Experiment of Lazarro Spallanzani
A.
Background
As
we all know that biology is the study of living things. However, biology alone
can not define the true meaning of life. Many scientists who have examined it.
We all believe that eventually we will die. That is a fact that there was no
doubt, we often think how everything started? Every living creature created
from the parent, there are some very silly questions, but we need to examine
and thoroughly example; Which was created first egg or chicken?. Similarly,
humans are created through the mother's womb. The question that the parent is
created from where? The questions above have been studied by scientists in
answering these questions in terms of science.
Many
previous scientists who thought the same as our thinking about how the origin
of life. They tried to examine these issues through experiments that their
respective designs. Through these experiments eventually emerged megenai
theories or concepts first gorg life.
Among
the theories is the famous theory of Abiogenesis and the theory of Biogenesis. Abiogenesis
theory first emerged than abiogenesis theory. Scientists who first advanced the
theory is Aristotle more than two thousand years ago and supported by the
scientist Antoni Van Leeunwenhoek. Abiogenesis theory states that life
originated from inanimate objects. However, this theory and argue with the
emergence of the theory of Biogenesis which states that living things come from
previously living things. Scientist who support this theory is, among others;
Lazarro Spallanzani, Francesco Redi, And Louis Pasteur.
Spallanzani
Lazarro stated this theory by doing experiments on water treatment broth with
different. To learn more about how to do Lazarro Spallanzani experiment, then
this report can be prepared to provide additional information. If we can find the
origin of life on Lazarro conducted by Spallanzani’s experiment.
B. Preview Of Literature
Until the early 19th
century, people generally believed in the ongoing spontaneous generation
of certain forms of life
from non-living matter. This was paired with heterogenesis, the belief that one
form of life derives from a different form (e.g. bees from flowers).
Classical notions of abiogenesis, now more precisely known as spontaneous
generation, held that certain complex, living organisms
are generated by decaying organic substances. According to Aristotle
it was a readily observable truth that aphids
arise from the dew which falls on plants, fleas
from putrid matter, mice from dirty hay, crocodiles from rotting logs at the
bottom of bodies of water, and so on (Anonim1, 2008).
Around
the year 1675 Anthoni van Leeuwen Hoek back raindrops observed using a
microscope and saw several small objects in the water droplets. He called these
objects "Tierkin" (Dutch term that means a body can live
independently). But the question is derived from living things or origin of
life arise because of these living creatures (Orphan, 1987).
The
first solid evidence against spontaneous generation came in 1668 from Francesco
Redi,
who proved that no maggots
appeared in meat when flies were prevented from laying eggs. It was gradually
shown that, at least in the case of all the higher and readily visible organisms,
the previous sentiment regarding spontaneous generation was false. The
alternative seemed to be biogenesis:
that every living thing came from a pre-existing living thing (omne vivum ex
ovo, Latin for "every living thing from an egg") (Anonim2,
2007)
Many
theories are emerging to address the origins of life. There abiogenesis theory,
theory of Biogenesis, Cozmosoic, naturalist natural creation, as well as the
chemical theory. There are some scientists who argue that life comes from
evolution. However, not a few who believe in this world that there is no
evolution. Among some earlier theories, the theory of abiogenesis and the
theory of the gasket Biogenesis often debated by scientists (Kimball, 1999).
Lazarro
theory Spallanzani, scientists from Italy who oppose the experiment John
Needham. He says that life is seen in the water caused by a warming broth that
is not long enough to kill all microorganisms. Lazarro trial can not be uprooted
Spallanzani generatio spontae theory because according to the opinion that the
supporters of the theory to life spontaneously arise from inanimate objects to
life-style required Lazarro Spallanzani experiment can not perform its function
because the jar and the pumpkin experiment clogged meetings (Anonim3,
2007 ).
There
are many theories developed to explain the origin of life. From this
abiogenesis theory emerged after the discovery microscope by Antoni van Leeuwen
Hoek. At the time of Aristotle to observe fish. That's what pushed Antoni Van
Hoek Leewen found living beings (Protozoa) in a marinade of hay and assume that
living things came from the straw. This theory we know that Spontae Generation
beings from inanimate objects (Ruinsyam, 2003).
The theory does not
last long, in the year 1668 comes a theory that denies the theory of Biogenesis
which states that living things come from living things. This theory was
introduced by Francesco Redi to conduct research using eight cylinders are
divided into two parts. Four tubes in the body with meat, fish, bread mixed
with milk, and snake meat. Four other tubes were treated the same as the
previous tube. But the fourth sealed canister. After several days the tube is
not closed and there are fly larvae in a closed tube that is not happening no
direct contact with air (Janive, 2002).
